Go Skate Deck Art Show - June 21st
June 21st is the National Go Skate Day. On that date we will host two events. One is the Go Skate Deck Art Show. The other is ATL's Go Skate Day promotion.
Go Skate Deck Art Show: Over 50 boards will be on display. The boards will be sold in a silent auction all day long. Proceeds from the show will go to several charities. (Go Skate Foundation, and local charities that are trying to build skateparks near Atlanta). The top 5 decks will be sent to Surf Expo to be displayed in the skate art show.
From Noon -6pm All Ages may view & bid on the boards. No Cover. Non Alcoholic drinks & Beer will be available.
From 10pm-2am is a 21+ party. The auction will close at 10pm. $10 door donation. Alcoholic drinks will be available. Live music by TBA & DJ Tommy Chung will perform.

Artists Info: To participate please send an email to dooGallery@yahoo.com. Write Go Skate as the email's subject or title. Blanks decks are available for local artists to pick up. Just mention you need a deck in your email & we'll set up a pick up date & time. click here to see pick up & drop off dates. Or talk to your local skate shop and ask for broken or used decks for you to use.

Go Skate Day at dooGallery: For ATL's Go Skate Day Surf Expo, several skate shops, skate parks, and skater affiliated businesses will all work together to promote skating. Skaters will stop by each one of the these skate spots. Pick up a Go Skate Day flyer (or print the one above) and have it stamped at the skate spots. Each skate spot has their own special stamp for the flyer. For each stamp, you will receive one raffle ticket. There is a maximum of 3 tickets, so don't race around town to collect as many as you can. At 6pm doogallery will host the raffle drawing. Prizes have been donated from all the skate spots and other sponsors.
From Noon -6pm skaters can stop by the gallery to be stamped and to view the Go Skate Deck Art show. Bands will be performing from 1pm- 6pm, No Cover.
