dooGallery logo contest

It's time for dooGallery to have a logo. This is a call to all of you to produce a logo for the gallery. The plan is to use the logo in all advertisements. Plus we plan to print several T shirts, stickers and buttons with the logo. The designs will be voted for on the dooGallery website.

The winning design's artist will receive $100. Along with the $100 dollars, the artist will receive half of the profits from T shirt sales.

We are currently pricing the production costs. We hope to produce 100. If we sell them for $10 a piece, and the costs to produce is $4 a T shirt, the profit is $6. Your profit would be $3 per x 100 Tshirts = $300 to you.

There are not many rules to this contest. More might be added later.

Rule #1 Your design must clearly spells dooGallery. All letters are lower case accept the G. It is all one word.

Rule #2. No Porn.

Illustrations, drawings, paintings, photos, all are welcome. We would like the the logo to be presented in either a TIFF, PICT, EPS or JPEG file. Saved in 600dpi. Nothing bigger than 2 megabites. If you can not present in a digital format, make arrangements to present your image to the gallery. We will scan, take a photo of, somehow get your art into a digital format. There will be a small fee to do so.

The images will be posted on the website and on a particular date, the fans of the gallery will vote on which one will be used.
